Coughs & Sneezes Spread Diseases

I have recently heard Labour blaming the Tories for the current flu outbreaks by suggesting that the epidemic is due to the axing of a £15m advertising campaign.  I am sure £15m could be better spent rather than explaining the very basics of personal hygiene.  Sadly we have seen the demise of the hankerchief or even the tissue and you frequently see people openly coughing and sneezing without any regard for people around them.  Public transport is one of the worst places to be affected by these serial snotters.  The virus can live for several hours on handrails, door handles and anything else shared by all.  Let’s get back to basics with frequent handwashing and hankies.  We should all take responsibility for our own health and that of others.
