Concrete Eyesore

Slow but positive progress on this local issue.  Firstly, everyone agrees it’s an eyesore and after a bit of argy-bargy about who actually owns it, we found it belongs to the Bowling Alley.  The base of the structure houses an electrical sub-station beloging to Manweb which is still live.  There have been several meetings and apparently there is a Health & Safety issue with the brickwork.  With the redevelopment of New Brighton, everyone is in agreement that it should be dismantled.  When and how is another matter – I’ll let you know.
